Puzzle 29

Hi!

It's the last day of school for this semester! Have fun and enjoy the long deserved break!
Anyway, here's the puzzle...

CONNED
Difficulty: Hard

An old man, who had a deaf wife, met a conman who claimed that he could make her hear if she opened an envelope he had on him.
Believing the conman, the old man purchased the envelope at a hefty price and brought it to his wife.
When she opened the envelope, the old man realised that the conman was in fact telling the truth, yet oddly enough his wife did not recover her hearing.
So... what was in the envelope?

Do remember to leave your guesses as comments! :)
Okay, now for the answer to the previous puzzle... drag your mouse over the empty space below to reveal the answer!

You would notice that the heterological is neither autological nor heterological.
Heterological can't be heterological because it that case it describes itself, which would make it autological.
But heterological can't be autological either because that would be self-contradictory.

Game.

Hello,

I see a Grammar Nazi has stepped in to cease all poor grammar growing on the blog like E. coli and that the blog is room temperature Canadian Beef. Spicing up the end of what seems to be the Common Tests, which is very common indeed, I communicate with all through this post to let known to you the "I don't even game". I suppose some might have touched, heard or seen this before, but most probably have not. Continue to search the game on Google, but if you're overwhelmed with lethargy, here's the link  http://www.lawlolawl.com/blog/games/i-dont-even-game/ which I have taken the liberty to paste here. This seemingly lengthy and wordy post might have successfully put you off the sleep, but just click the game. And speaking of which, I lost it. I have noticed that some people see no purpose in playing The Game. Well, it is a psychological test, actually. Have you read the book "The Velocity of Honey?" If you haven't, you should. The Game aims to provide a psychological mindset that your brain generates to think about something more after you contemplated you want to not think about it. Well, the analysis of The Game is conducted in universities so it would be a good introduction for us all if we begin the simple wondering of why trying to forget something makes us remember about it more than we do for things we want to remember. Oh, The Game is used because it is a more common word, concise and to the point. This leads to the conjunction that when we see "game" we can link it to "The Game". If this post has dragged you into a world of boredom that you want to press the red button all the way to the top right hand corner, please, do what you want. If you're still interested, try examining the Truth Table in relation to Pascal's triangle. Well, this concludes the post. And those were just suggestions on how to elapse the last 7 and a half hours of this day in-lieu of Vesak Day. And don't forget the Geography Essay due in another 7 hours and 25 minutes, assuming it's 4.34pm now.

Time ticks, moments don't last. You just missed another moment reading this line.
