Hi!

The beach clean-up yesterday was quite fun, apart from the walks though (my feet were aching when I came home). Too bad I couldn't go to Mcdonald's (I already told my parents I was coming home for lunch), so at least you know I wasn't one of the greedy fries eater.

Here's something strange. During the beach clean-up I noticed a can that was washed up on the beach by the waves. I went over and picked it up. It was a can of Tiger Beer. The miraculous thing was -- it was UNOPENED and full! Then, Mrs. Koh told our group to give it to the rubbish cleaner who was clearing the rubbish bins. The whereabouts of the can is currently unknown, but I hope the rubbish cleaner didn't drink it (we forgot to inform him about its origins).

Anyway, does anyone know the HTML code to the chatbox and the music player? Also, Joyce, can you help me on finishing the rest of the HTML editing?

WHEN ANGLES GO ALL WRONG...

Difficulty: Hard

First, let's take a look at some basic stuff first.

ABCD is a square and diagonal BC cuts the square in half. So, we can say that angle BCD is 45 degrees.

Now, look closely at the following...

Suppose the above is a cube (I know it doesn't look like one but just imagine it is). What is the value of angle BCE in degrees?

Hint: It's not 90 degrees!

The answer is (D), 10 cm! The other answers are either too short or too long to be correct. For the full explanation, look below.

What's the fastest way to a certain place? Of course, it's by a straight line, from the location to the destination. Now, take it into context with the triangle.

Suppose the mystery side is this fastest line. So, the two points (location and destination) are on the top and the bottom. So, the fastest line must be less than 19cm + 16cm (35cm), or else the triangle will have 2 sides that are too short. (A) and (C) are more than 35cm, so there are out.

Now suppose the fastest line is the 19cm side. The two points are now on the lower left and the bottom. The fastest line must be less than 19cm-16cm (3cm). (B) is out, since it is less than 3 cm.

The only answer that fits the above requirements is (D)!

I know it sounds very chim, but you'll get it eventually.

aft that, we went to mcdonalds for lunch. U GUYS SHOULD SEE THE AMT OF FRIES THE GUYS ATE! LOL xDDD they finished a whole MOUNTAIN of them in like 10mins 0.0 *stunned* i'll be posting the pics on facebook :D seriously man, how in the world did they eat that much?!

then, for the st john ppl(me) we went to tampiness(i dunno how to spell :) isit correct?) sec school watch the competition. i left early cos of tuition :P we oso learnt a new way of bandaging! bryanne looked hilarious xDDD LOLs like he was wearing a hairband or sth :P (hahas bryan, no offence :P)

overall, it was a great day at the beach. even greater if u went to mccdonalds. greater by a little bit more if u went with the st john ppl xD AND THE GREATEST IF U WENT TO TUITION WITH ME!!!(which no one did, so i had the greatest day!!!) hahas!!! LOLOLOLOLOL

Reminder

Hello people, I know it's kind of late, but for those still online and you happen to check your blog before you sleep, please remember to report to the foyer by 7:55am as Mr Lim will be taking attendance. Please come in orientation tee and PE shorts (and skirts for girls), and also bring your stationery along with your water bottle and a face towel if you have one. Each of the groups will be given a rubbish bag, gloves and tongs, if I'm not wrong. We'll be handling quite a large area, so please do your job properly and don't fool around. We're doing this to save the environment and all. So yea, don't complain, enjoy your CIP! You can bond with your friends too :D Remember to get into your groups! So yea, that's it.

I've got nothing to do so I went to search the dictionary and found out that "Kejuju" does not mean honesty in Malay. "Kejujuran" means honesty in Malay :) We're kind of missing the "ran"

hello people, L is once again here to remind you that the holidays are ending :D What a nice thing to know :P Please remember to wear your tie tomorrow and wear a smile on your face like, every second of the day. Any people found not doing so will be punished accordingly. Can't wait to see you guys :D Remember to assemble in the hall tomorrow and um, I have an announcement of sorts to make.

On term 2, there will be a recycling project among the year 1s and 2s, I think. The top 3 classes with the most recycling materials will be award Popular vouchers, of how much I do not know. So yes, if your schoolbag happens to be very light on a particular day or you're being fetched to school, please bring some recycled materials like newspaper etc. A little effort from everyone will do (: A rag and tag man will be coming every week to measure how heavy our recycled materials weigh so yea. So if you have some paper you want to throw in class, don't throw it in the bin, please put inside the recycling box, but I think there's a bag for us to throw into. - cough - Vinnie - cough - And please remember to save paper guys, natural resources are scarce and very precious (: Remember to save water too! ^^ Okay, I'll stop nagging now.

anyway, that isnt the main point of this post. i jus wish to clarify some matters regarding my previous post. i had stated the kejuju is the awesoemest class. by doing tis, im not trying to be mean to other classes or wat. but in my personal opinion, kejuju IS the best class ever :) i seriously do not find that it is immature to do so(as what ryan had stated) and FYI, almost every class is doing this, saying that they are the best. it is jus a form of expressing our love and loyalty to our classes. Hence, i dont really think that im offending anyone here. i mean, the ppl from other classes may roll their eyes when they see that, but i'll still insist tat kejuju is the best xD and i seriously dont think tat it is offensive in any way...

But nevertheless, if you guys disagree with me and still think that my previous post was considered as an attack to other classes, feel free to tell me and i'll remove it :) On the other hand, if anyone has any disagreements with my posts or opinions the nex time,pls tell me face to face instead of posting my post as an example of an "offensive post" thank you :D im not scolding anyone here, jus wanna clarify matters

LOL xD Let's pray hard for the people there and hope that everything will be alright soon :) aft tis incident, i feel so relieved that im born in singapore and treasure our country even more. although eveyone is kiasu and kiasi (xP) s'p is still a very safe country and doesnt hav any natural disasters, yea? :D we should really be thankful that we're still safe here, sitting in front of the com. it's kinda sad that 10000 innocent lives had been lost due to the tsunami...(thou the jap had killed alotta ppl during the japanese occupation, it's still sad as this ppl are innocent. moreover, the jap now are really nice ppl)

Hi people!~

Ok, I'm gonna keep this short because there's so much HOMEWORK and I HAVEN"T EVEN STARTED ON THEM YET!!! >.<

First of all, I want to thank everyone (including the guys) for being so understanding, supporting and friendly for this term. Thx for being by my side for this 3 months!!!~ ^^ U guys have been really nice companions!~ (Although some of u disrupt the class quite constantly :) LOLS)

Secondly, I would like to remind everyone that this 1 week holiday is not just for playing and whiling away your time. Please take note that there are LOADS/HEAP FULLS/BUCKET FULLS of HOMEWORK(!!!) and they are due after the holiday. Actually, what's the point of having a holiday anyway? I'd rather go back to school cos during school days we don't have that much homework.

Oh, and I have a facebook account already - actually it's not entirely mine, I share the account with my brother and my dad and both of them never ever did touch the account anyway. So um..., you can send a friend request to "Derek Ong" (That's my dad's name. I am FORCED to use it because its much safer to use than my real name) because I am so 'desperately' in need of friends. LOLS~ :P

And, the blog has been lying in the dust for this whole day with reference to the stats and um.....I'd like to remind u guys that even though u r busy or u r busy playing games (LOLS), do drop by this blog whenever u can and maybe sweep the dust off the blog? ...Being part of the class and the EXCO members, i woud like to say that we are still not bonded enough. we are still leaving some people out.Kejuju is only Kejuju when all 25 of us is in it, if not, it should be called #2Kejuju.So i hope that we can be better next term. A new term, a new start.

it's the end of the term alrdy and im outta a sudden feeling so emotional(LOL) so i decided to post a post despite of the no of hmk i hav to complete before my holiday.

I jus wanna thank everyone for giving me such an enjoyable term 1(one of the best terms in my entire 13yrs)and you guys are really so super damn AWESOME<3 Thanks for helping me when im in need and being so nice and super friendly and crazy and cute and funny xDDD

Well, if i've been mean or offended anyone of u in anyway, im really really sorry and sincerely hope that i'll be forgiven :) pardon me if i actually sound mean in certain converstaions cos of the stress that our dearest teachers have been providing me with(:P) hais, stress=bad temper :(((

*ahem* i decided to be nice and say good things abt the guys too (:PPP) so... well, er... LOL(lost for words) er... You all are certainly nice friends to squabble with and the ones who add colours to our "classroom lives". all in all, u all can be graded as nice la! (xDDD) at least alot better than guys from my previous class :P anw, i had fun teasing u all (im sure u enjoyed insulting me too) XPPP

In general, YOU GUYS SIMPLY ROCK. It's kinda unbelievable how time flies. the orientation seemed to happen only a few days back yet now, it has alrdy been a term(abt 70days 0.0) Once again, thanks for everything! lets work hard together for the rest of the year! かんばて！！！

I just finished revising for my Chinese spelling.

Hi everyone! I think that recently, I am the only one posting :( So let's all get active! Ok, I have some IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS to make :) Ok, vor allem (first of all in German), I will say: Please try not to sign up for events during the March and September holidays beause usually they are not block weeks and they are PERFECT for our class's bonding sessions :P Ok so this march holiday, we will be coming back to school to give our class A NEW LOOK! (So do keep that day free) More details will be revealed later on and by Friday :D As all of you are already aware, ok not all but most, we are not going to Mr Lim's house anymore. This is because... we can't go! :'( I think that it is a good thing too, because we can bond in school! So, yes. No more information. Please pinch me or slap me if I start blabbering confidential information because I am so excited about this coming wednesday. Ok now for the serious part. We will be having a Chinese test and a Geography test this coming friday, the last day of school. (A FRIENDLY REMINDER to those who are cooking on that day, please do remember to bring your aprons and all :) and don't get marks deducted. Well, you can borrow the lunchboxes if you forgot to bring the container, though) Ok now for the unimportant part which is still important :) We have to do our maths yellow book :) Other important stuff and random homework we have been given today will not be revealed because I have a tinge feeling 1Feray is stalking our blog. Right? If you are just say so in the chat box :)
Ok. More updates: Our class duty roster will be changing again. :) Mr Lim said we rank 3rd in the class league. We must maintain the standard for the next 3 days or else we will the the 4th place catch up :( So let us work together to (something is supposed to be here)! Ok the sad thing and bad news is that we cannot catch up to second place this term :( Ok, another good news is that we will run :) PT is still under discussion so do look forward to this. Oh no! Am I revealing too much? Ok, slap me.

I'm so bored... :( There's no hw to do at all.(Everyone must think im crazy for thinking this way. Im not!!!)

Im so suprised that someone got 86 marks(!!!) for chinese test. Maybe i'm very stupid. I just managed to pass by a few marks! OMG! Haish. I'll have to buck up for the next few tests alr... :'( How to improve??????? I hope i won't like get very bad results 4 ca1 or anything.

I heard that some ppl r thinking of dropping jap as third lang. Must be very stress. I made the right choice by not choosing a 3rd lang... But japanese sounds very nice. I want to learn some of the words. I WANT TO BE MULTILINGUAL. (Hahas. Wonder how im going to do that. My chinese so fail still want 2 learn more languages. XP)

And why did we change the duty rooster? Wat's wrong with the previous one?(Just wondering. Im not complaining; don mistake me.) But im also fine with the one now. Not like i don want to work with certain ppl. Im very open-minded u noe. Hahas. Sorry u ppl have to put up with my bragging. :D

SO BORED.......... Wat 2 do? Haish... Everyone must be so busy right now studying. Makes me feel so lazy. Want to watch tv.

Hi people!~

Please take note that you have to ask your parents to sign the Science Test paper, History Essay Assignment and Maths Common Test.

And um..., those people who scored less than expected for the Chinese Test, don't stress yourself too much and please don't kill yourself. What's done cannot be undone. Anyway, this is not the only Chinese test paper to be accounted for in your report book so just work harder and get back those marks you lost. And don't feel too upset if you got between 70 to 79 because that's already higher than the average marks you are supposed to get. And its secondary school we're talking about, so achievements will be relatively lower.

Take some time to reflect and go through the mistakes you've made. Train yourself to be less careless and more observant.

Just "KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON". LOLs :)

Good Luck for the Science and Geography tests next week! And don't forget to study for HCL Spelling!
