Puzzle 3

Yeah! Our blog views for this month has hit above 1000! :D Anyway, since Joyce (and possibly all of you) find my previous puzzles so hard, I'll make it especially easy today! Here's the puzzle!

EASY PEASY?
Difficulty: Easy

Note: There are 4 questions in total to answer.

PLEASE DO NOT USE ANY APPARATUS/TOOLS TO HELP YOU IN THIS PUZZLE.

1. Look at the picture below.

A straight line is hidden behind an orange rectangle, as shown above. The ends are exposed. One of the ends is on the left on the rectangle. There are 5 possible ends on the right. Which one is the correct end?
That's right -- Nothing with STRAIGHT EDGES can be used.

2. Tammy's father has 5 daughters.

Four of them are April, May, June and July.

What is the name of the fifth daughter?

3. Look at the picture below.

Which one of the red lines, A or B, is longer?
Again, no RULER OR RELATED APPARATUS (which can measure, of course!)

4. Look at the picture below.

Okay, I admit that my drawing skills aren't exactly fantastic.

How many onions are there in the picture above?

Please post your awesome answers under the "Comments" below.

Answers will be revealed on Sunday...

Now for the answers to Puzzle 2...

Drag your mouse over the empty space below to see the answer!

The answer is 60 degrees! Look below for the full explanation.

Draw another diagonal from B to E. You'll get a triangle BCE. Since it's a cube, and all its faces are squares, that means all the diagonals are of equal length, and that means triangle BCE is an equillateral triangle! As all the angles in an equillateral triangle are the same, then angle BCE is 60 degrees!

A difficult question with an all-too-simple answer. How satisfying.

Erm I'm not too sure about my answers but I didn't bother to check cause I want to keep myself in suspense so I have something to think about during German class tomorrow :D

1) C (cause its in the middle)
2) Tammy (heard this one in a different version)
3) Same length (Seen this illusion. They ask which is longer, its either the one that looks shorter or they are the same)
4) 4 (ooo It happens to be the question number. Anyway, they are white (background), green (tree), yellow (fruits) and brown (trunk)

:D

The tallest guy on earth whose name happens to be on top of this comment :)
